Dr. MUNA SALIM HAMOOD AL- SIYABI
Muna is an assistant professor at Sultan Qaboos University, College of Education, Early Education Department. Muna is the first person in Oman to have a PhD in Early Childhood Education in 2024 holding both BA and MA in the same field. Muna is a qualified early childhood educator who applies culturally and religiously responsive pedagogies to ensure all children and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds feel a sense of belonging in learning environments. Muna supervised undergraduate students during their practicum, providing guidance and mentorship in teaching and learning. Muna guided educators in two private schools to enhance the quality of education through workshops focused on optimizing learning environments, curriculum development, reading strategies, learning activities, and daily routines.
